This is my bit of a blog. Rambling words about rambling days. No focus and nothing ambitious. I seem to write most about local color, nature, and animals, and there is an incomplete chunk about my road trips of 2011.

Church on Russell Street

Greenpoint, New York (Brooklyn) is the "Neighborhood of Churches" (also "Little Poland"). This church, tucked away on Russell Street facing McGolrick Park, is one of the quieter and lesser known, but also most beautiful. Apparently it has been the Church of the Messiah, for English-speaking Lutherans, since 1899.
