This is my bit of a blog. Rambling words about rambling days. No focus and nothing ambitious. I seem to write most about local color, nature, and animals, and there is an incomplete chunk about my road trips of 2011.

The Raptor Trust

Visited the Raptor Trust again today. Loved the owls, as usual, especially the great horned owl. The bald and golden eagles were impressive, as usual, for sheer size. The most interactive were the two peregrine falcons. One without half a wing tip, the other without an entire wing. Another horned owl was the most vocal, perching right to the front of his cage and hooting lots at twilight.
