Things I've noticed so far about western North Carolina and northeastern Georgia.
Forest understory filled with rhododendron. What a nice change from wineberries and multiflora rose. Must be decent to bushwhack through and beautiful in bloom.
Ingles is the main (only?) supermarket. Far better than A&P, on rough par with ShopRite, below Kings. Each one has been very large and not crowded.
Much of the milk in the supermarket is yellow, or is it just in yellow containers?
This is my bit of a blog. Rambling words about rambling days. No focus and nothing ambitious. I seem to write most about local color, nature, and animals, and there is an incomplete chunk about my road trips of 2011.
