Yay! Interwebs at home. It only took a full two weeks. Averaging about five megabytes per second download so far, so not bad, here on Main Street.
Also, picked up my first farmers' market order this morning. Four kinds of root vegetables, a lamb shoulder, and a prezzie for someone who's birthday is coming up ... The food packets are labeled by the various farms that grew their contents and with the customer name, my name, written in all various farmers' hands.
Was told by the market ladies, I am a "from-away." Someone not from around here. I don't know if this is a local term or the ladies' in-group vocabulary.
This is my bit of a blog. Rambling words about rambling days. No focus and nothing ambitious. I seem to write most about local color, nature, and animals, and there is an incomplete chunk about my road trips of 2011.
